Justin Whitmire and I was very worried about the possibility of the WBC rearing it's ugly head. I called Rich for advice and then followed it. The support for the family was like nothing I've ever seen before, and not a WBC member in site. We were able to honor this young man and show much respect for his family. | Comments: | I may have the wrong page but im doing whatever i can do to get this information out there. My best friend and finace is stationed at Ft.Stewart in Georgia. He is in the Infantry. He has served in Iraq/Afghanistan 4 times. He has been shot, blown up in a truck, and put his best friend in a body bag. As so many other hero's have had to do. He informed me today that the CRAZY, INSANE, PHYSCO Westboro Church (of freaks) is plannin a protest next weekend at Ft Stewart. Billy, loves his Harley and fighting for his country. It breaks my heart to think that he along with every other soldier is about to be subjected to so much ignorance and hate. I am trying to incourage him to get as many of his bike friends to show up and protest right back. Show them what exactly they are all fighting so hard for. | Comments: | I am not sure who is responsible for the freedom ride that took place on june 26, 2010 on state hwy95 in Fulton county but I would like to thank those people. That was the day of my daughters funeral. I know that it had nothing to do with our situation but it meant the world to me. My daughter would have loved it, and I know some how she saw it. My husband, my father, my brother, and several other members of my family are vets and I know how moved they all were. I have never seen such a display of honor, respect, and love as I did on that day when everyone of the riders came to a complete stop to pay their respects. My daughter was only 2 years old but she had a fire inside her like no other and she loved to see her grandpa ride up on his bike. who ever is responsible for that ride I thank you. You made a very difficult day a little easier, and I know you made Stella smile.thank you again for all that you do. |
